Connections

Whilst we are a Church in a village, we are not solely a village Church.  We seek always to keep the bigger picture in view and have a global vision, with several of our Church family being actively involved in the work of

• Viva (worldwide)
• Helping Hands (Uganda)
• Open Doors (worldwide)
• Beauty from Brokenness (South Africa
• Mission Guatemala

Others are actively engaged in serving through the

• Explore (a forum to help older young people in schools & colleges understand marriage)
• Care for the Family
• Healing on the Streets
•  Solitaire (which seeks to encourage those on their own in our community and area).

Alongside other Churches we seek to serve both our local community and our nearby City.

And we are very much part of the ‘Love Oxford’ vision and meet regularly with the Oxford Church Leaders committed to working together in unity across our City.

We also value being part of the New Wine Network – and seeing our young people engaged in Soul Survivor Camps and events and Vertigo youth events for the Churches of our City and area.

Beginnings

Living Stones Community Church was born in 1991 through evangelism in the local community and area, and evangelism has remained a key part of the Church life and ministry . We are now linked with St. Aldates Church – a vibrant Church in the heart of our nearby City – and we value the active inter-relational links we share together.
